Founder Interview Hiatus
A note from Pamela
An enthusiastic thank you to all of the founders who have participated in this interview series. To date, I have not interviewed all of the founders, but the individuals that were available provided valuable information. I, a founder as well, have not been interviewed yet. The goal is to continue the series in December/early January for my founder interview inclusion. Be on the lookout for the interview being conducted by co-founder, Tiffanie Williams.
For the remainder of 2023, I would like to explore the previous interviews. Specifically, highlighting important moments. What key takeaways can we gather from these accomplished individuals? What have we learned that can be the tipping point of inclusion in our strategy as we move forward? How can we convey the various identities and experiences of members while continuing to build a cohesive organization? I look forward to clarifying points, filling in missing elements and telling these stories with wholeness in the forefront.
The first quarter of 2024 will begin a new chapter in telling the stories of our members. These interviews will be with the associate and assistant members, who are willing to have a Q & A discussion. If I am successful in conducting all of the interviews, there will be thirteen and they will carry over into the first quarter of 2025!
I am so proud of this series because not only does it showcase the who behind our organization, it highlights their varying experiences, things they are building outside of our organization, and their contributions to our organization. An organization that is attempting to combine multiple generations where every viewpoint is and can be different, but valuable.
This is my first experience with taking on a Q&A at this caliber. Formulating questions I hope are valuable, while keeping the interview as authentic as possible with the words shared. Without member cooperation it would not have been possible and for that I am grateful. As willing participants, some members wanted their stories edited in a particular light and that is understood as each person is more than a name on a platform.
Winding down this year will be amazing. Be sure to read each individual interview and compilation, visit each website and support. Support comes in many forms such as purchasing, sharing a link on social media or amongst friends and trusted, supportive colleagues. Be on the lookout for new ventures because our members know how to make a splash in the business world.
The first compilation will combine roughly half the interviews. Will there be new insights learned? Stay tuned and find out.
